Vaziani Winery will implement a major project with the financial support of Bank of Georgia.
The company has bought vineyards and vineyard lands of about 120 hectares between the villages of Gremi and Eniseli, in the Kindzmarauli Zone, Kakheti Region, thanks to Bank of Georgia credit.
The mentioned vineyards basically consist of Saperavi and Rkatsiteli grape varieties, as well as such rare varieties as Kissi, Khikhvi, Krakhuna, Tsitska, Usakhelouri, Shardone and Kakhetian Green.
The company plans to pick more than 800 tons of grapes in the new vineyards. At this stage, the company is designing irrigation system. In 2019, the company will start arranging Saperavi vineyards on 41 hectares in the village of Eniseli.
Our own vineyards protect us from financial risks accompanying floating prices of grapes and at this same time our vineyards create preconditions for production of high-quality wines”, the company representatives said.
