Georgian wine will be exported to 70 million Hunan provice of People’s Republic of China.The head of wine national agency, Giorgi Samanishvili declared about it after completing his official visit in China. Samanishvili was invited to Changsha to attend the opening of trade center as an honourable guest. In this center, Georgia wine is also presented.
“In 70 million Hunan province capital, Changsha, third biggest trade market in China was opened where Georgian wine is also presented. In the frame of visit in Changsha, we had meetings with the vice gubernator and also with the director of trade center with whoom, Georgian wine perspectives were discussed.
Hunan province representatives are interested in importing Georgian wine to China and they will visit Georgia at the beginning of next year.
During the visit of Giorgi Samanishvili in China, Georgian wine companies were presented in Shanghai Free Trade Zone Wine Exchange Center. Other activites are also planned in the future to promote Georgian wine in the center.
This year, on 27th of July, the Ministry of Agriculture and “Silko Road Chamber of International Commerce” signed memorandum which aimed to open Georgian corner in Shanghai Free Trade Zone Wine Exchange Center.
Last week, Georgian wine was also presented at an international exhibition “Prowein China 2016” and 30 wine producer companies were participants of this event.
