Minister of Economy of Georgia Giorgi Kobulia has introduced Mariam Kvrivishvili, new head of National Tourism Administration to the administration staff and media representatives.
Kvrivishvili was selected among 27 candidates through simplified competition.
“It is much honor for me to lead one of the strategic directions of Georgia. There are a lot of challenges ahead, because we have ambitious plans based on national principles. We plan to develop new tourism products through short, medium and long-term strategies, arrange new infrastructure, launch more new flights and attract more high-income tourists to Georgia. It is also important to have more diversified strategic markets”, Mariam Kvrivishvili said.
She has good experience of working in tourism sector. Since 2013 she has worked as director general for LLC Voyager, as a regional manager for FlyDubaui airline. In 2012-2013 she has worked as deputy head of Natinal Tourism Administration, Minister of Economy Giorgi Kobulia noted.
