According to the information spread by Georgian Airpots Assocaition, in January-February Georgia-based airports handled 625 236 passengers, up 25% as compared to January-February 2018 (500 687 passengers).
All three international airports of Georgia recorded an upturn in passenger turnover.
Namely, in February Tbilisi International Airport served 238 445 passengers, up 13% year on tear. At the same time, in January-February the passenger turnover rose by 13% year on year.
At Kutaisi International Airport the passenger turnover rose by 111% in February 2019 (47 573 passengers). As to January-February period, the airport served 103 468 passengers, up 112% year on year.
The growth tendency is maintained at Batumi International Airport too. In February 2019 the airport served 14 278 passengers, up 87% year on year. At the same time, the January-February passenger turnover rose by 67% year on year.
