Innovation and technology Agency (GITA) chairman Giorgi Zviadadze shows readiness to back the idea of famous Georgian designer Zviad Tsikolia for production of electric vehicles. Zviadadze made the statement for Business Morning program.
“I remember that Zviad Tsikolia wrote on his own Facebook page that he wanted to launch production of electric vehicles. I would like to inform you that he was contacted in the name of Minister of Economy and a meeting was also agreed. I have no information about other details. GITA is a LEPL under Ministry of Economy and we are ready to provide overall support to the famous designer within our competences”, the GITA chairman noted.
It should be noted that recently Zviad Tsikolia wrote on his own Facebook page: “The US has launched building submarines by 3D printer. We had also idea to print the first Georgian electric vehicle at Techno Park. We had everything prepared, but the Georgian reality prevailed”.
