Foreign Investors Launch Implementing Investment Project in Kutaisi

Georgia becomes a very interesting country for foreign investors in terms of real estate sector investment potential. With the support of Enterprise in Georgia – Investment agency, Indian investors are implementing a 1.5mln GEL investment project in Kutaisi to build a commercial-residential mixed complex.

With the support of representatives of Enterprise in Georgia – Investment, City Construction company has implemented a real estate market research for about 6 months. After discovery of attractive investment environment for the project implementation, the Agency representatives started active cooperation with the investor for selection of the project location, obtaining various permits and making investments. As a result, City Construction company launched a construction of 5-floor building in Kutaisi, where both office and premium-standard residential spaces will be represented.

The project implementation will be finished in September 2018 and the company will employ about 20 persons. The company director Saurabh Pahujah noted that currently the company explores investment potential of Tbilisi real estate market and in the near future the company will start implementing an important investments project in Tbilisi too.

“We have discovered huge potential in Georgia in terms of making investments in Georgia’s real estate sector. Active development projects are being implemented in Tbilisi and Batumi and tourist inflows are also growing. We have explored the Georgian market and decided to use this favorable environment and make a number of investment projects to contribute to investment climate development in the country”, City Construction director Saurabh Fahuja noted.
