According to the Head of Government of Georgia, healthcare is one of the priority directions of the Government and significant steps are made forward by the authorities to develop the system.
“We managed to increase the budget allocations for the healthcare sector in 2019 and it is a significant step, however we understand that challenges remain, along with faults that are related to the accessibility of healthcare services to our citizens in a more comfortable manner, supply of medication to our pensioners and socially vulnerable groups of population. We promise to all that we will, by all means, correct these faults also” added the Prime Minister of Georgia.
