The Georgians spent 200 to 300 GEL on New Year’s table on average, the report was published in the IPM survey published today.
According to the same research, the first 5 dish of Georgian New Year table looks like following: Gozinaki (69%), satsivi (52,4%), khachapuri (33%), pork (28,9%) and chicken (25.5%).
It is noteworthy that in 2018 most of the population (93,3%) are being optimistic and think that the new year will be a better year for their family comparing to previous year.
