Tbilisi City Hall has launched an implementation of several infrastructural projects simultaneously on Shartava and Saburtalo Streets, Robakidze Avenue, Baratashvili Rise, Kakheti highway, Avchala and Gelovani Avenues.
The rehabilitation works have generated traffic jams in the center of the capital city. The first layer of asphalt will be laid till September 15, Tbilisi City Hall officials said.
“Infrastructural projects are being actively implemented in the capital city. Companies are working in 24-hour regime. We confirm that the works will be finished till September 15. The first layer of asphalt will be laid on all main streets in Tbilisi. After September 15, companies will work from 00.00 to 0.6.00 o’clock at night to finish the remaining works”, Tbilisi Vice Mayor Irakli Bendeliani told BM.GE.
Tbilisi City Hall will spend 80 million GEL on infrastructural projects till 2019.
