The situation in Georgia is extremely positive and EU should support visa liberalization. Federica Mogherini, high representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, declared in her speech about it at the press conference after meeting with ministers. According to Mogherini, Georgia and Ukraine visa liberalization process is priority for European Union.

“This is an issue which was discussed not only by the ministers, but I also started talking about it with them from the beginning. It is a priority for us to make a decision about the visa liberalization for Georgia and Ukraine, because Georgia already suits all the standards. There is a decision to go forward in this process. I am waiting for the visit of Prime Minister here. Everyone declared that the situation in Georgia is extremely positive and very hopeful and it is necessary that EU supports it”-noted Mogherini.
