Even the older generation who has never heard of a hashtag was actively posting on Facebook, once they learned they could influence the Georgian NBA Player Zaza Pachulia’s getting into the All-Star’s league by casting their votes.
The tiny country of Georgia with the population of 3.7 million people stood united on this matter and the world saw this.
“How big is this country?” were the jokes pouring in at NBA commentaries after Pachulia moved to hold the 8th place among the All-Star candidates, beating NBA old-timers such as DeMarcus Cousins and Dirk Nowitzki.
