Georgian wines accumulated 4 silver and 16 bronze medals in total. The most medals went to “Schuchmann Wines Georgia” and “Teliani Veli” wines.
France came out winner in medal quantity, with 58 gold and 398 silver medals. Italy took second place with 36 gold and 340 silver, with Spain coming in third with 31 gold and 179 silver medals. Georgian wines failed to acquire gold medals on the contest, but did allocate more medals overall than most other countries in the region. For comparison, Russia took just 2 silver and 5 bronze medals home, and Armenia managed 1 silver and 3 bronze.
