Warlock VR, the Georgian innovative game developed by GameLab Iliauni, is among winners of the Leap Motion 3D Jam 2.0, one of the most prestigious contests in the field of online games.
A total of 200 games were introduced at the online competition from all over the world. The jury has selected 11 best ones and the Georgian game has obtained the second award position. The first award has gone to Thailand.
Warlock VR is the first Georgian VR game that enables you to get transformed into a witch. The game is based on BETA regime, i.e. the finished version of the game has not been released yet.
The game has been created by StormBringer Studio, the Georgia’s one of the most famous developers’ team. The project was implemented at the GameLab Iliauni.
GAMELAB ILIAUNI, a laboratory for computer and mobile games, has been created on basis of LEPL Agency for Innovations and Technologies of the Georgian Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development. The body is to promote the process of commercialization of innovations and technologies.
At this stage, GAMELAB ILIAUNI is an only GameLab in Georgia.
One of the main objectives of the lab is to involve young people in the process of developing the computer and mobile games and to foster the commercialization of successful student projects. The Lab makes focus on employment of young people.
