Georgia to adopt European Rural Development

The Civil Development Agency and the Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia examined issues affecting the productivity of Georgia’s rural development. With the assistance from the European Union and United Nations Development Programme, the consultations targeted the social and economic affairs.

The meeting conjoined a variety of participants ranging from government officials, local servants and private organisations.

The discussions delved into issues, such as communal aid, development of commerce and rural employment. In addition, the meetings discussed the involvement of citizens, including the youth. Furthermore, the consultants reviewed the rural development in the European Union and its connection to Georgia.

The consultations will continue and the finalised reports will be provided within the upcoming weeks.
