CO Leakage in Tbilisi Killed 86 people in 3 Years

In 2018, 98  poisoning and 27 deaths were reported due to CO leakage.

Bm.ge requested information from “KazTransGas Tbilisi”.

According to statistics provided by the company, in 2016, 125 cases of poisoning have happened and 29 people died due to CO leakage.

In 2017, poisoning – 62 and 30 deaths were reported.

Company “KazTransGas – Tbilisi” plans to make additional explanations about the tragedy in Didi Digomi during the day.

In connection with the explosion that took place in the residential building of the Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia investigation has started, which implies a violation of security rules during construction or exploitation which resulted in the death of two or more people.

The injured have been transferred to hospitals and are provided with appropriate medical care.
