Term for interest expression on Namakhvan HPP Cascade is prolonged until July 7.
“JSC “Georgian Energy Development Fund” takes decision to extend application submission term at the consent of the Ministry of Energy, as the applicants’ proposals are discussed as the final and do not subordinate to the change, as well as technical documentation of the project requires further study”, – the Fund declares.
Estimated cost of Namakhvan HPP Cascade is $730 million. The project is carried at the area of Tskaltubo and Tsageri Municipalities, on the River Rioni. The project will generate 433 mgwt energy in addition, which will entirely stay in Georgia.
