Switzerland to Grant 5 Million Francs for Development of Georgian Agriculture

The minister of Agriculture, Levan Davitashvili met a Swiss Ambassador, Lukas Beglinger. The minister introduced the agricultural projects to the ambassador and underlined to the importance of financial and technical support from Swiss government, during the meeting.

Levan Davitashvili talked about the issues of animals’ identification-registration program as well as the perspectives of the development of cattle-breeding in the mountainous Alp zones and sharing the Swiss experience in this field. 

According to the Swiss ambassador, Switzerland is going to get a financial aid of 5 million Francs for the development of Georgian agriculture and the collaboration will continue to deepen cooperation in educational and economic field.
