Silk Road Group sells the bank. Erkan Tatishev, chairman of Supervisory Board of the Group declares, that banking activity is not among their priorities.
Negotiations are already held with European and American Funds. Tatishev is sure in the success of the deal. Silk Road Group continues investments in tourism and energy sector. Construction of Radisson in Tsinadali and Radisson Blu Telegraph in Tbilisi are to be launched. Over 65 million USD will be invested in the projects totally.
Energy is among the priorities, where the company plans to construct 45 mgwt MachakhelaHES. According to Kazakh businessman, the company will invest 70 million. Ilia Eloshvili, deputy energy minister considers investments in energy sector by Silk Road Group as important. He declares, that Erkan Tatishev is one of the biggest investor in Georgia, he works in the country through 11 years and engagement of “brave businessman” in energy project is essentially important.
