In Russia ruble reached a historic low. According to local media, on the Moscow Stock Exchange US dollar value increased by 50 kopecks and was set at 56.94 rubles. Ruble fell against the euro as well – the official rate of euro increased by 68 kopecks and reached 60.58 rubles.
Along with depreciation of the ruble, world prices of oil are falling. As per today’s morning data, at the ICE Brent crude fell to $ 63.52 per barrel while WTI oil price dropped to $ 59.47.
According to Russian media, in the state Duma are thinking about replacing the ruble with another currency which should stop falling against the dollar and the Euro.
