As of January-November, 2015, the share of 10 largest trade partners has amounted to 64% in Georgia’s total foreign trade turnover.
According to Geostat, Turkey remains as the biggest trade partner of Georgia, the volume of trade turnover amounts to 1,380 million USD.
Then comes Azerbaijan – 725 million USD. However, Russia is retuned in the top-3, which has insignificantly exceeded China with turnover of 675 million. China has been among the leaders through the recent period, while the figure totals to 643 million.
The top-5 includes Ukraine and Germany, receptively turnover indexes are 462 and 452 million.
The top-10 includes Bulgaria, Ireland, the USA and Armenia.
To remind, foreign trade turnover by commodity in Georgia has made up 8,892 million USD through January-November, 2015, which is less by 14% comparing to the previous year; at that export totals to 2,019 million USD (23 less by 23%), while import – 6,873 million USD (less by 11%).
Georgia’s negative trade balance has totaled to 4854 million USD through January-November, 2015 and 55% of foreign trade turnover.
