The owner of the international shipping company Kamex launches a new business.
Camara Express holding plans to set up nut crops plantation in the village of Tibaani in Kakheti region. According to the company’s representative, nuts, almonds and walnuts will be planted on the area of 9 hectares, 2.5 hectares of which the company received within Produce in Georgia project.
The first harvest is expected in about 4 years, while in two years the enterprise construction will be completed. The company talks about a growing demand on nuts, almonds and walnuts in the world, while the project aims to substitute imported products and promote export of local products. More than 2 million will be invested in the project. Camara Express Holding is also engaged in investing in the energy sector.
