NDI: Unemployment Shrinks in Georgia

According to the National-Democratic Institute (NDI), unemployment level is declining. According to the recent report, which was held in December, number of people, who consider themselves unemployed, has shrunk.

Namely, 40% of the respondents consider themselves to be employees, while 60% consider themselves as unemployed.

According to the June 2017 report, 62% of the respondents described themselves as unemployed. 

In the April report, only 37% of the respondents named themselves as employed.
NDI conducted fieldworks from November 29 to December 19 and questioned 2 298 persons all over Georgia.
