As part of ERBD annual meeting in Nicosia, Cyprus, Georgian Finance Minister Dimitri Kumsishvili met with In-Chang Song, Deputy Minister of Finance and Strategy of Republic of Korea.
According to press service of Ministry of Finance, the parties discussed Georgia-Korea bilateral cooperation issues and noted that there are serious opportunities for cooperation enhancement and development.
“Government of Korea is interested in deepening relations with our country, employing Georgia’s investment potential. Nenskra HPP, one of the major investment projects, is being implemented with co-participation of Korea. K Water, a Korean state company, is taking part in the project implementation. Moreover, we also discussed East-West highway corridor improvement project and perspectives for developing South-North road transport infrastructure”, Dimitri Kumsishvili said.
At the meeting the Korean party expressed much interest and readiness to implement strategically important projects in various sectors of Georgia economy.
