Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan on Wednesday received Georgian Ambassador Tengiz Sharmanashvili, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Armenia.
The Ministry of Agriculture informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that Karapetyan said Armenian-Georgian relations have developed with dynamism during Sharmanashvili’s tenure, especially in the agrarian sector.
“Georgia is one of our closest partners,” the minister noted. “And I’m confident that these friendship relations will continue to develop.”
Ambassador Sharmanashvili, in turn, expressed his gratitude to the Armenian agriculture minister and the Ministry staff for their assistance during his diplomatic mission in Armenia. At the end of the talk, Sergo Karapetyan wished Tengiz Sharmanashvili further professional success in his future activities.
