Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP), a Korean power company, is interested in making investments in Georgia. The company delegation has visited the Georgian Partnership Fund to receive information on the current situation in the Georgian power sector.
According to the Georgian Partnership Fund, Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP) operates in the energy field and plans to hold meetings at the Georgian Energy Ministry to collect comprehensive information about the Georgian Power sector.
Natia Turnava, the Partnership Fund deputy executive director, updated the guests on the energy projects, including on Nenskra HPP project, in which Korean company (K-Water) is an investor.
Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP) owns 44 power stations in South Korea, including 35 hydro power plants and holds 30% ratio in South Korea electricity supply market.
