President of NBG declares about the leave of Financial Supervisory under the management of NBG.
Constitutional Court has not adopted the verdict on the regulator’s case. Koba Gvenetadze has talked about it on Wednesday and confirmed afresh, that he supports existence of the Agency under the management of NBG, which is conditioned by the necessity of effective management.
“There is not the need to separate Supervisory Board from central bank at this stage”, – the chief banker of the country notes.
To remind, international organizations, including International Monetary Fund, which mission will visit Georgia in May, is against the separation of Supervisory Board from NBG. Governmental reforms, management of budget deficit and tax amnesty will be among the discussing issues.
