We presume that despite the existing challenges in the region, Georgia’s economic growth will reach 5% in 2015, – Georgia’s PM Irakli Gharibashvili said at the Georgia-Estonia Business Forum.
According to him, it is very important for Georgia to have close trade relations with strategic partners.
“Estonia is our friend and strategic partner, and I am confident that the EU Association Agreement, including the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area, will really contribute to full realization of trade and economic cooperation potential between our two countries.
Estonia, like Georgia, is not a big country, but it has made good progress very rapidly. Estonia is one of the leading countries in terms of modern technology and innovation. Development of a similar dynamic business environment is very important for the progress of our country”, – he said.
He said that the leading Estonian company Skinest Group is already investing in Georgia’s energy sector.
“Our market is completely open to foreign investors, and I would like to point out that local and foreign companies have a level playing field in our country.
We have created a free, fair and transparent business environment, which is reflected in many international rankings. We presume that despite the existing challenges in the region, Georgia’s economic growth will reach 5% in 2015,” – said the PM.
