Georgia’s Economy Increased by 2,8%

According to preliminary estimation, Georgian economy was increased by 2,8% in 2015.

According to Goestat, growth pace of GDP was sharply declined in December and the rate merely amounted to 0,3%. The increase had been 2,9% in Q4. It should be noted, that economy was grown by 3,3% in Q1,2015, Q2 – 2,5%, Q3 – 2,5%.

However, Georgian government and international organizations predicted GDP growth by 5% early in 2015. But later, they have sharply reduced growth forecast to 2% at the background of the conditions in the region.
