Georgia Tightens Quality Control over Medicines

Georgia tightens quality control over medicines. The Minister of Health David Sergeenko said before the Cabinet meeting today.

In his words, the program will be discussed at today’s meeting. According to the Minister, if so far a single control of the manufactured or imported medicines has been carried out only, this time  it will be a number of procedures including the raw materials testing .

“The  program operated   in previous years, but this year’s program includes changes that increase the quality control of medicines. In particular, medications quality  will be checked  not only in local but also international laboratory accreditedfor a particular test standard,” Sergeenko notes.
