In 2016, Georgia is among top ten Economic Events in the list of “Free Trade” countries for China and it occupies 8th position. As they say in Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the survey was conducted in December, 2016 in People’s Republic of China by initiative of Ministry of Commerce.
Negotiations between China and Georgia about “Free Trade” has been estimated as successful and voted by the majority of Weixin users.
In the mentioned survey, the first place was taken by Chinese-US Commerce and Trade unites commission and 27th session took place in 2016 in Washington. At the same time, there was 126th exhibition of Chinese Export and Import. It has to be noted that they conduct survey to reveal the main economic events annually.
The agreement concerning the issue of organizing meeting about free trade between People’s Republic of China and Georgia and the necessity to start research was signed on 9th of March, 2015, while the minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Giorgi Kvirikasvhili was visiting China.
Memorandum about free trade between Georgia and China was signed in Tbilisi, on 5th of October, 2016.
