On January 28-30, the European Commission’s Transport and Mobility Director General Henrik Hololei will visit Georgia on an official visit.
Within the frames of the visit, meetings will be held with the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Giorgi Kobulia and other executive officials of the country as well as representatives of transport companies.
On January 29, Henrik Hololei will take part in the first meeting of the EU-Georgia High-Level Dialogue on Transport Issues.
The main goal of establishing this format is to develop and deepen cooperation between the EU and Georgia. At the first meeting scheduled in Tbilisi, the sides will discuss strategic topics such as developing a trans-European transport network in Eastern Partnership countries.
