The tourist groups from China will be able to enter Georgia without a visa. This information was provided by Giorgi Chogovadze, who is the head of National Tourism administration.
“With the collaboration of China’s tourism agency, we have created a group that will work for the two-year working project. We are also creating special products, that will be mainly intended to Chinese people.”- Chogovadze said.
According to him, three Iranian Arline companies have expressed their interest toward Georgia as visa-free regime implementation will take place. Chogovadze strongly believes that this fact will significantly increase the amount of Iranian tourists.
“In Georgia in terms of visitors the most portion comes from Azerbaijan, and Armenia. It is not the unique case as it is natural that most of the visitors are coming from neighbor countries.
As for the events and the situation going on in these countries, Georgia should do everything to regulate the situation and avoid conflicts, due to it will have a negative effect on our country itself.” – Chogovadze said.
