Anaklia Development Consortium has signed agreements on corridor with the Trans-Caspian ports at the “Silk Road of Tbilisi”.
The memorandum of cooperation was signed by Levan Akhvlediani, general director of the “Anaklia Development Consortium” with representatives of the Baku International Port and Kazakh Port Kuryk. Taleh Ziyadov, general director of the Port, signed the memorandum on the side of Baku Port. The agreement on cooperation with the Kuryk Port was signed by Talghat Osapanov, deputy general director of the port and general director of “Seymourg Invest”, Iskander Abdulkhalikov.
The consortium explains that the agreements between ports will help develop the trans-Caspian corridor and create competitive conditions for the transportation of cargo at the end of the construction of the Anaklia port.
In the nearest future Anaklia Port plans to sign a cooperation memorandum with Romanian port of Constanta.
Construction of Anaklia Drainage Port starts on December 20, 2017. The opening of the first phase of the port and receiving the first ships in the port is planned by 2021.
