American HillWood Shows Interest in Georgia’s Logistics Potential

HillWood, a major US company, has showed interest in Georgia’s logistics potential. Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili introduced Georgia’s logistics opportunities to the company director Henry Ross Perott at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, at the meeting the parties stressed the importance of Georgia’s strategic location and transit potential, as well asimportance of involvement of US companies in Georgia’s transit corridor. It was noted that Georgia’s transformation into a logistics hub is one of the key priorities and the country welcomes that more and more companies show interest in this direction.

The parties also discussed Georgia’s investment environment, ongoing democratic reforms and various achievements, which are reflected in international ratings too.

The Prime Minster expressed readiness for successful cooperation with HillWood for implementing specific projects in Georgia.
