Perishable product shipments are increased in Georgian corridor.
As of 11 months, “Georgian Railway” has transmitted 25 639 t cargo by refrigerator sections, more by 624 t comparing to the same period of the previous year. It worth to mention, that sharp decline is fixed in the transfers by refrigerator sections through the first 7 months. However, such type of commodity has been sharply increased from August.
“Georgian Railway” has served 33 265 TEU containers in 11 months, the decline is 7 022 TEU y-o-y. It should be noted, that the railway has transmitted 10, 9 million t cargo in 11 months, the reduction amounts to 2 million t y-o-y. The basic decline accounts for the transit cargo.
