Tbilisi Mall management has been handed over to an Eastern European company TriGranit Group. Rakia Georgia which owns Tbilisi Mall has already signed a relevant agreement.
According to the company’s Director Guga Tsanava, the company manages hundreds of malls in Europe and has well-established contacts worldwide. TriGranit Group will also work on attracting new brands. Tsanava also notes that Rakia Georgia has changed the concept in relation to Tbilisi Mall and decided to allocate 40% of its space to brand stores, 60% – for entertainment zones.
In this direction, Rakia has already launched projects and opened Cavea movie theater in Tbilisi Mall. “Work is underway to add entertainment components, such as bowling. Technical work is almost finished, cosmetic repairs are going on which will be carried out every year. In fact, the entire effort is focused on filling the unoccupied spaces located on the third floor,” Tsanava says.
