Major importers assert that Georgia should follow the experience of Switzerland.
Levan Giorgadze, SOCAR Georgia Petroleum director general, says: “Our country should not produce a lot and low-quality products. Our country should make focus on small and top quality production, premium segment. Swiss chocolate, watches are expensive, but in-demand products. The country should determine its niches. We should seek the niche of the cheapest manufacturers”.
The country should give priority to exotic direction, he noted.
Levan Giorgadze makes focus on local and international branding, free regime, trading, any directions. As soon as freedom is restricted, processes go unclear and business process is frustrated. Free regime enables to provide quick reaction to any market challenge, because it is transmitted and prevented timely, he said.
