The Georgian National Communications Commission (GNCC) has started discussing an appeal that JSC Silknet has submitted against Fiber-Optic Telecommunication Network – FoptNet ltd.
Silknet accuses FoptNet of having violated the offer terms for admitting FoptNet to the electronic communication channels in Ajara and of having unpaid a part of the service fee.
Silknet demands that FoptNet pay 62 175 GEL debts and be allowed Silknet to cease the service to the violator company if it rejects paying the debt and before conclusion of a new agreement.
According to the Georgian law on Electronic Communication, the GNCC accepted the appeal for discussion. The essential hearing will start at 15 o’clock on February 11, 2016.
