On October 9 the German city of Frankfurt is hosting Georgia-Germany Business and Cooperation Forum, which was organized by Government of Georgia, German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and UN Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) as part of the Frankfurt Book Fair.
The business forum was unveiled by a welcome speech of Norbert Bartley, parliamentary secretary of German Ministry of Economy and Energy and Giorgi Kobulia, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
As part of the business forum, Enterprise Georgia director Mikheil Khidureli held a presentation about Georgia’s business environment and investment potential. The forum format, besides official inauguration, also comprises three sectoral parallel sessions, including: 1) roundtable negotiations on logistics and transport infrastructure issues; 2) tourism and tourism-related infrastructure and services; 3) vocational education. In the mentioned directions each department will hold a presentation for the German audience about the existing strategy and situation in Georgia.
Moreover, as part of the event, 20 Georgian companies will be able to hold the so-called B2B meetings with German companies.
