This year the first Georgian whiskey JIMSHER will be exported to the USA. The company will export all three varieties.
The company founder Jimi Chkhaidze told BM.Ge that there are lot of bureaucratic procedures in the USA in terms of certification and business sector passes these procedures for a period of one year without any problems.
“We have to take the last step. We have already signed a contract and we will enter the USA in 2019”, Jimi Chkhaidze said.
As to other countries, the company also plans to expand the network to Hong Kong, Lithuania, Latvia and Russia.
At the same tie, businessman plans to produce 5 other varieties too.
We remind you that the first Georgian whiskey JIMSHER was introduced in autumn 2016 and its price by 5% lower compared to its foreign analogs. At this stage, this product is sold at about 100 supermarkets in Tbilisi. JIMSHER has won one golden and five silver medals at London World Whisky Contest.
At this stage, the company offers three varieties of whiskey – traditional Saperavi Aged in Kasri, Georgian Brandy in Kasri and Nakhadi Aged in Tsinandali Kasri. At this stage, the company exports its product to China, Kazakhstan, Taiwan, Ukraine and Poland.
