Reorganization is launched at the company Energo-Pro Georgia.
The company will be divided into two companies. One will become holder of generating assets, which will gain license on energy generation by the corresponding procedures in the code, while the second will continue activity of energy distribution.
The shareholder of the company, Czech “Energo-Pro A.S.” links reorganization to the legislative amendments, which will charge companies, operating in Georgia separation of energy distribution and generation assets.
To remind, Energo-Pro Georgia is at the market since 2007, which unites electric power generation and distribution facilities in the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Georgia and Turkey. The company holds 15 hydro and one natural gas power station; the company serves more than 1 million subscribers.
