Problem is connected to international sanctions, some technical issues are still unsolved, that is why Iran is not able to implement direct investments. Government establishes quite good economic relationship with Iranian side, only one problem hinders direct investments between these countries.
As for him, Iranian businessmen mostly show interest in Tourism and Agriculture, also oil bitumen and construction material imports are quite actual. Mtvralashvili notes that imports of goods from Iran undergoes without any impediments, however Georgian export companies face bureaucratic barriers, entering Iran.
