The company “Nena” products will be exported to China. As the company’s founder Zurab Chkhaidze told “business contact”, the first batch will be sent to China in the near future.
Accordingly, Keda and Chokhatauri produced fruit products, jams, stewed fruits and pelamushi will be sold in China at “Georgian House”.
According to Zurab Chkhaidze at first export of Georgian products in China will be limited amount, however in the future, the company plans to sell its products in China’s retail network.
Based on the statement of Zurab Chkhaidze, the company has been negotiating for several months. There is more than one year the company’s wine has been sold in China, therefore Chkhaidze hopes that after China’s free-trade agreement the sales of Georgian products will be meaningfully increased.
During one year in China 50 “Georgian Wine Houses” have been opened. Additionally, 2 million bottles of Georgian wine export is planned.
The production of “Nena” company is sold in the European Union for several months. The company at this stage produces 15 species of fruit jam, 4 types of sauces and pelamushi as well. Products are sold in the local market. The company will start vegetable production from this year.
Fruit production enterprise will be opened in Chikhatauri in Autumn.
