A bus assembly plant is planned to be built in Georgia.
At this stage Ministry of Economics is holding negotiations with several international, including Swedish and Polish, companies.
According to Deputy Minister of Economy Keti Bochorishvili, they are in active talks with the companies and specific information will be known in the first quarter of 2015. “In the first stage, buses are planned to be assembled then we’ll try to interest the companies in terms of production,” – Bochorishvili notes.
In her words, at the first stage the legislative framework should be regulated, while the next stage envisages the continuation of active negotiations.
