The Artificial Intelligence Laboratory was opened with the financing of Mercedes Benz in Georgia.
Maka Asatiani, Founder of Mercedes Benz Representation in Georgia, invited guests of Daimler AG (Mercedes Benz) and University Rector Andro Rurua jointly opened the laboratory.
The laboratory is located at the University of Business and Technology and will work on the integration of artificial intelligence in the education process. BTU students will be able to cooperate with leading IT companies around the world and develop interesting products for them.
The projects already initiated in the university – artificial intelligence is a strategic direction in education, medicine, tourism, marketing, startups, engineering – where the university professors will work together with major international partners.
Innovative research laboratories are at Mercedes world leading universities and it is important that the artificial intelligence laboratory will be opened in BTU namely. This is the result of close cooperation with the corporate sector of the university.
Artificial intelligence is the fastest growing technology in the world, which is gradually integrated into every leading industry. This project will significantly facilitate the formulation of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Georgia.
According to Maka Asatiani, “talented young people will be able to develop and implement innovative products. We will be participating in this kind of projects in future projects as of this field’s importance. “
