Zaza Sopromadze, Director of Social Service Agency, and Deputy Director General of Liberty Bank Levan Tkhelidze signed a Memorandum on Cooperation at the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs.
Within the framework of the memorandum, Liberty Bank will pay full compensation for the electricity and natural gas consumption consumed by over 40 small family type houses (35) and homeless shelter (6) on the territory of Georgia within 1 year (from 01 January 2018 – 31 December 2018). It should be noted that last year the bank had allocated a solid amount of money in this direction.
“I think, cooperation between Liberty Bank and Social Services Agency, is the best example of private sector and the state agency collaboration. For the third year, the Liberty Bank will pay the utility costs for small family houses and homeless shelters, which is a great help for children living there and service providers themselves. The exempt amount will enable us to improve our services to 40 small family-type homes and homeless shelters. Thanks to Liberty Bank for outstanding social responsibility, “said Zaza Sopromadze, Director of Social Service Agency.
“Within the framework of the Social Responsibility Program of Liberty Bank we continue to cooperate with Social Service Agency in 2018. We give special priority to the projects that require support from the private sector and material support – we are where we are needed the most. “Said Levan Tkhelidze, deputy director general of Liberty Bank.
